Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm) in Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacology

Program Type: General and Thesis

The Department of Pharmacy is one of the most progressive and established departments at the university and across the country. UAP pioneered the Bachelor of Pharmacy program in 1996 and currently offers both undergraduate and graduate degrees including this M. Pharm in Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacology.

This evening program is specially designed for pharmacy graduates to gain advanced insights into Clinical Pharmacy, Pharmacology, Therapeutics, Toxicology, and Biotechnology.

Objectives of the Program:

  1. To provide quality education in the rapidly evolving fields of pharmacology, therapeutics, toxicology, and biotechnology.
  2. To deliver in-depth knowledge on the current trends in Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacology.
  3. To offer opportunities to employed pharmacy graduates who are unable to enroll in regular daytime master's programs.

Program Groups

Thesis Group: Students in this group must carry out laboratory-based research. The work should reflect up-to-date advancements in Molecular Pharmacology, Biomedical Sciences, or Biotechnology, under the supervision of a designated faculty member.

General Group: Students will prepare a project report based on surveys, literature reviews, or other academic studies. A seminar presentation of the project findings is mandatory at the end of the program.
