Department of Pharmacy

From its inception in 1996, the Department of Pharmacy, UAP, has been striving to achieve excellence in education and research in pharmaceutical sciences. We aim to create skilled professionals who enhance the health and quality of people's lives.

Currently, the department offers three programs: B. Pharm, M. Pharm in Pharmaceutical Technology, and M. Pharm in Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacology (both Thesis and Non-Thesis). All programs are top-ranked among public and private universities in Bangladesh.

Our facilities span over 39,000 square feet and include modern classrooms, state-of-the-art laboratories, and a collection of over 40,000 pharmacy-related resources.

We train students in practical skills, including drug formulation (tablets, syrups, creams, etc.), quality control, impurity analysis, stability testing, and more. Our curriculum emphasizes inter-professional collaboration and therapeutic decision-making.

With a dedicated team of experienced faculty and top-tier lab infrastructure, we remain committed to preparing our students to become future leaders in healthcare and pharmaceutical innovation.
