About IQAC

University of Asia Pacific

The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the University of Asia Pacific (UAP) was established to ensure a culture of continuous improvement in academic and administrative activities, in alignment with the national quality assurance framework of Bangladesh. Guided by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Bangladesh Accreditation Council (BAC), IQAC works to enhance the quality, relevance, and effectiveness of higher education at UAP.

Mission


The mission of IQAC to facilitate all academic departments of the University to attain the following outcomes.

  • Accreditation of Academic Programs: Assist academic departments to ensure quality education through accreditation of all undergraduate and postgraduate programs by recognized accreditation bodies (BAC, BAETE, IAB, PCB, Bangladesh Bar Council)
  • Professional Development of Faculty Members: Provide support to conduct sufficient academic training for faculty members as part of their CPD (Continual Professional Development) to ensure adequate knowledge on advanced teaching learning process
  • Review of Programs and Academic Documents: All academic programs should be periodically (annually) reviewed by the Department along with Industrial Advisory Panel (IAP) and External Academic Expert. Academic documents (course file) also need to be reviewed by Program Self Assessment Committee (PSAC) on regular basis
