The Institute for Research, Innovation and Development (IRID) of the University of Asia Pacific (UAP) is pleased to invite research project proposals for the IRID Funded Research Grant from full-time faculty members (regular/contractual) of UAP on innovative and emerging topics.
IRID strongly encourages research proposals containing newness and novelty in the proposed areas of research and methodology that will produce innovative outcomes publishable in reputed journals/books (Web of Sciences, Scopus, ISI indexed etc.) and presentable in national and international forums.

Who Can Apply
Full-time faculty members (regular and contractual) of UAP are eligible for funding through quality research projects.
What We Look For
Proposals with newness and novelty in the proposed areas of research and methodology that produce innovative outcomes.
Publishable Outcomes
Results should be publishable in reputed journals/books (Web of Sciences, Scopus, ISI indexed) and presentable in national & international forums.
Encouragement
Early and mid-career faculty members, and those who have not applied earlier for an IRID Research Grant, are especially encouraged to apply.

Submission Timeline & Instructions
Submit Proposal
By 13th Feb 2026: Interested faculty members submit the proposal to their Head of Department (HoD).
To Research Committee
Same Day: The HoD sends it to the Departmental Research Committee.
Committee Review
By 19th Feb 2026: The Departmental Research Committee reviews the proposal and submits it back to the HoD.
Forward to IRID
By 20th Feb 2026: The HoD sends the soft copy to irid@uap-bd.edu and ad.irid@uap-bd.edu.
Hardcopy Submission
Submit a signed hardcopy package to the IRID Office.
