The Institute for Research, Innovation and Development (IRID) is very pleased to invite research project proposals for IRID Funded Research Grant from the full-time faculty members (regular/contractual) of the University of Asia Pacific (UAP) on innovative and emerging topics.
Grant Overview & Eligibility
IRID provides funding to full-time faculty members (regular and contractual) of UAP for quality research projects. IRID strongly encourages research proposals contained with newness/novelty in the proposed areas of research and methodology that will produce innovative research outcomes publishable in reputed journals/books (Web of Sciences, Scopus, ISI indexed etc.) and presentable in national and international forums.
* Early and mid-career faculty members and faculty members who did not apply earlier for IRID Research Grant are especially encouraged to apply.

Submission Timeline & Instructions
- Step 1 (By 13th Feb 2026): Interested faculty members submit the proposal to their Head of Department (HoD).
- Step 2 (Same Day): The HoD sends it to the Departmental Research Committee.
- Step 3 (By 19th Feb 2026): The Departmental Research Committee reviews the proposal and submits it back to the HoD.
- Step 4 (By 20th Feb 2026): The HoD sends the soft copy to irid@uap-bd.edu and ad.irid@uap-bd.edu.
- Step 5: Submit a signed hardcopy package to the IRID Office.
