UAP Civil Engineering Alumnus Receives UNESCO Madanjeet Singh Scholarship

Mr. Nur Mohammad, an alumnus of the Department of Civil Engineering, University of Asia Pacific (UAP), has been selected for the award of the South Asia Foundation (SAF) - Madanjeet Singh Group Scholarship/Fellowship.

He will pursue the MSc in Water Resources Engineering and Management degree offered by the Department of Civil Engineering, University of Moratuwa, in collaboration with the UNESCO Madanjeet Singh Centre for South Asia Water Management (UMCSAWM), University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka, and the South Asia Foundation (India).

This scholarship, tenable for two years (2024/26), will cover tuition and registration fees, UMCSAWM support, economy class roundtrip airfare, student medical insurance premium, one-time settling-in allowance, and a monthly stipend of LKR 1,00,000 during a stay in Sri Lanka.
