Ingenious Marketing Club, UAP and Pathao jointly organize road safety workshop

In a joint initiative, the Ingenious Marketing Club and Pathao Limited organized a road safety workshop titled “Safe থাকি, Safe রাখি” at the University of Asia Pacific on Wednesday, May 13, 2026. The workshop was designed to raise awareness among students about road safety and encourage safe behavior during daily travel.

The workshop featured two Pathao officials, including Abrar Ahsan Chowdhury, Senior Manager, Brand & Communications, Pathao- who shed light and guided students on road safety and the significance of the initiative. Then Raiyan Ferdoush, Assistant Manager, Brand & Communications, Pathao, spoke about Pathao’s services and interacted with the audience to learn about the problems users face while using ride-sharing services. Students also shared their suggestions during the discussion, making the program interactive and engaging.

The event also included a special appearance by renowned cartoonist Sayed Rashed Imam Tanmoy, who delivered an insightful speech on the role of creative expression in social awareness. Following his speech, the art competition was arranged for the participants. During the workshop, he guided students and demonstrated how creative artwork can be used to create social awareness.
Pathao has also launched a road safety-themed art competition and invites participants to create cartoons and artworks based on road safety. Participants will need to submit their artwork or cartoon through the website, and the winners will receive attractive prizes. Following the speech of Sayed Rashed Imam Tanmoy, the art competition was arranged for the participants.

The workshop successfully combined awareness, discussion, and creativity, making the program both informative and engaging for the participants. The initiative was designed to help young people become more conscious, responsible, and safety-minded on the road.
