The University of Asia Pacific (UAP) scripted a new chapter in its sporting history by reaching the Semi-Finals of the AMA Coffee Campus Futsal Tournament 2026, earning a place among the tournament's top four teams. Held from 28 to 30 June 2026, the tournament featured 32 universities from across Bangladesh, making it one of the country's most competitive inter-university futsal competitions.

UAP opened its campaign with an impressive 2-1 victory over the European University of Bangladesh on 28 June, securing qualification for the knockout stage. The team continued its impressive run in the Round of 16, facing Presidency University. After a hard-fought match ended in a goalless draw, UAP kept its composure to triumph in the penalty shootout and advance to the Quarter-Finals. In the Quarter-Final on 30 June, UAP met the Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) in another closely contested encounter. With neither side able to break the deadlock in regulation time, the match was decided by penalties. Demonstrating remarkable resilience and confidence under pressure, UAP emerged victorious in the shootout to book a historic place in the Semi-Finals.


Later that day, UAP faced Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology in the Semi-Final. Although the team's inspiring campaign concluded with a defeat, its spirited performance throughout the tournament earned widespread appreciation and marked a significant milestone in the university's sporting journey.


By reaching the Semi-Finals, UAP achieved its first-ever appearance in the final four of a major inter-university futsal tournament. This landmark accomplishment reflects the dedication, discipline, and determination of its players, club advisor, and coaching staff. The achievement was further recognized with a cash prize of Tk 100,000 for the semi-finalists.
