UAP hosts Ada Lovelace National Girls' Programming Contest 2022

University of Asia Pacific hosted a two-day long Ada Lovelace National Girls' Programming Contest 2022 on 22 and 23 July 2022 at the university premises. The programming contest was organized by Bangladesh Open Source Network ((BdOSN) and supported by Enabling Sustainable Development Goals for Bangladesh.

The two-day long festival included poster competitions, workshops and seminars along with programming competitions.

Prof. Dr. Qumrul Ahsan, Vice Chancellor, UAP addressed the prize giving ceremony as the Chief Guest and distributed prizes among the winners while Mr. Munir Hasan, Head, Youth Program, The Daily Prothom Alo; and Dr. Shah Murtaza Rashid Al Masud, Associate Professor and Head, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, UAP were present, among others.

The first three teams were handed over a trophy and certificate each while other winners received a certificate only.
