The Entrepreneurship and Career Development Club of UAP organized workshops on “Idea Season 3.0”.


The workshop on Idea Season 3.0 held on March 20, 2024, at the UAP auditorium. The workshop was organized to prepare the students for their future careers and to unleash their entrepreneurial mindsets.
ECDC works to enrich students with the skill sets and knowledge that they need to have in order to pursue a successful professional life. This club also encourages the students to think outside the box and generate new ideas to start their own startup business.

After two tremendously successful workshops on Idea, ECDC has successfully hosted yet another thrilling workshop under the banner of Idea, which is “Idea Season 3.0”. In this workshop, the keynote speaker and special guest of the event was Dr. Naheem Mahtab, Chief of Staff of Sheba Platform Ltd.
The keynote speaker discussed the challenges and drawbacks one might have to face while opening a startup business. He also mentioned the techniques through which those drawbacks can be tackled, which will eventually turn the situation in one’s favor. He encouraged the students to become their own versions of entrepreneurs and never give up on their dreams. The keynote speaker emphasized how important it is to stay focused on one’s goals and to keep one’s vision strong and clear.

The chief guest of the workshop was Prof. Dr. Qumrul Ahsan, Vice Chancellor, University of Asia Pacific. He stated that this workshop is going to have a positive impact on the students who are willing to open a startup business. He advised the students to learn the required skills in order to shine in their careers. Dr. A.S.M. Mohsin, Director, Directorate of Students’ Welfare, University of Asia Pacific, and Mohammad Rakiv, Assistant Professor, Department of Business Administration, and the adviser of ECDC, were also present at the workshop.
The workshop had various partners. Jamuna TV and Somoy TV were the news partners for the event; The Daily Star and The Business Standard were the news partners.

Finally, the event was concluded by a token of appreciation to the keynote speaker of the event, Dr. Naheem Mahtab. The vote of thanks was provided to the keynote speaker by Prof. Dr. Qumrul Ahsan, Dr. A.S.M. Mohsin, Director, Directorate of Students' Welfare, and Mohammad Rakiv, Assistant Professor, Department of Business Administration, UAP, and the Club Advisor of ECDC.
