UAP Pharmacy students secure second runner-up position at DIU Pharma Fest 2023

A two student’s team; Ms. Fahima Afroja and Mr. Md Shajid Hossain Rafi, from the Department of Pharmacy, University of Asia Pacific (UAP) secured the second runner-up position at the poster presentation competition on “DIU Pharma Fest 2023” held at Daffodil International University, Birulia, from February 15-17, 2023.

The UAP students presented their research on "Formulation Development, Characterization and In-Vitro Evaluation of Tamoxifen Liposome". Their innovative approach to the drug delivery system caught the attention of the judges, and they were awarded the second runner up position. Md. Asaduzzaman, Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmacy, UAP supervised and guided to the UAP’s Team.

The poster presentation event was attended by students and faculty members from various universities across the country. The competition was fierce, and the judges had a tough time deciding the winners. However, the UAP students stood out with their well-designed research and professional presentation.
