Department of Business Administration, University of Asia Pacific (UAP) arranged a Webinar on 'COVID-19 & Institutional Brand Building Agenda'. The resource person of the Webinar was renowned academic and a specialist in the area of marketing & branding, Dr. Syed Ferhat Anwar, Professor & Former Director, IBA, University of Dhaka
The Chief Guest of the Webinar was Professor Dr. Md. Sultan Mahmud, Acting Vice Chancellor, UAP. Among others, the treasurer of UAP, Air Commodore Ishfaq Ilahi Choudhury; Head of Department of Business Administration, Dr. Mahbubul Haque; Convener, UAP Branding Committee (UBC), Professor Mohammed Tareque Aziz, Ph.D, Faculties and students from different departments were present.
In his opening remark, the Chief Guest welcomed the resource person and thanked both Department of Business Administration and UAP Branding Committee (UBC) for arranging such a timely Webinar. He further wished that the Webinar would be very much helpful to the authority, faculties and students.
The resource person of the Webinar emphasized on, how the Covid-19 pandemic made revolutionary changes across the globe, its impact, the adaptabilities needed, and how to see the future through this pandemic: the leanings from it and the new priorities due to it.
The session followed a question-answer session later on.
The Webinar was concluded by a closing remark from Dr. Mahbubul Haque, Head of Department of Business Administration. In his speech, Dr. Haque thanked the resource person for covering such a versatile area of Covid and especially its impact on academia. He further wished to have the resource person on different seminars/webinars of the University in near future. He concluded the closing remark by thanking the people involved: the faculties, the students and the guests.
The Webinar was an initiative from UAP Branding Committee (UBC) and Seminar & Webinar Organizing Committee, DBA, UAP.
