Musawer Ahmad Saqif obtained his B. Sc. Engineering degree from BUET in February 2017. He completed his undergraduate thesis on Structural Engineering under the supervision of Dr. Md. Shafiul Bari. The topic of his dissertation was ‘A Study on Corrosion Resistant Reinforcing Bars’.
Mr. Saqif joined UAP in August 2017 as a Lecturer and currently instructs courses on Project Management and Professional Practices. He also teaches sessional courses on the design of concrete and steel structures. Prior to joining UAP he served as Lecturer in Presidency University for three months.
He is an Associate Member of The Institute of Engineers Bangladesh
(IEB), Member of American Concrete Institute (ACI) and a Student
Member of American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). Besides
teaching Mr. Saqif is actively involved in research. His research
interests include Structural Dynamics and Earthquake Engineering,
Structural Forms and the Evolution of Skyscrapers and Nonlinear
Analysis of Reinforced Concrete and Steel Frames.
