Joya Rani Mallick joined the Department of Civil Engineering at University of Asia Pacific (UAP) in October, 2019. At UAP, she is currently instructing undergraduate courses on Engineering Drawing Sessional, Concrete Structure Design Sessional, Geo-technical Engineering Lab I and Environmental Engineering Lab I. Prior to joining UAP, she served as a Lecturer in Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) and Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST). 

She obtained her B.Sc. in Civil Engineering degree from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET) on October, 2018 and graduated with honors. During her stay in BUET, she achieved University Merit Scholarship and was on the Dean’s List for extraordinary results for 4 consecutive years. Currently, she is pursuing M.Sc. in Civil & Environmental Engineering in BUET.

Her research interest includes: slope stability, soil erosion, soil-structure interaction, and effect of soil salinity on soil properties and structures. Her involvement in research has led her to publish one international conference paper on International Conference on Disaster and Risk Management (ICDRM)-2019.
