Discussion session on ‘The Prospects and Challenges of Law Profession’ held at UAP

The Career Development and Placement Committee, Department of Law and Human Rights, UAP organized a discussion session on ‘The Prospects and Challenges of Law Profession’ on 1st of August 2023 at the UAP auditorium.

The purpose of this program was to familiarize the newly admitted students with legal profession focusing on the challenges and possibilities of the legal profession in the competitive global environment. The key discussant of the program was Md. Asaduzzaman, Associate Professor, Department of Law & Human Rights, UAP.

Two Alumni of the Department of Law and Human Rights, UAP Ms. Monira Mosharraf , Advocate, Supreme Court of Bangladesh Barrister and Solicitor, Canada and Mr. Nafiz Saleheen, D.G.M and Head, Legal Affairs Akij Basir Group, Bangladesh, shared real life experiences and challenges during their carrier development.

The special guest of the program was Dr. Chowdhury Ishrak Ahmed Siddiky, Associate Professor, Department of Law & Human Rights, UAP. The Chief Guest Prof. Dr. M. A. Baqui Khalily, Acting Dean, School of Law, UAP gave valuable guidelines to the students for professional success. The ceremony was presided over by Md. Abdur Rahim, Assistant Professor & Head of the Department, Department of Law and Human Rights, UAP.
