University of Asia Pacific signs MoU with Ontik Consulting Limited


University of Asia Pacific signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ontik Consulting Limited on 24th January 2024.


Prof. Dr. Qumrul Ahsan, Vice Chancellor, UAP and Md. Tahmeed Abdullah, Chief Marketing Officer, Ontik Consulting Limited, signed the MoU on behalf of the respective institutions.

The purpose of this MoU is to foster collaboration and mutual support and to empower and develop the student resources of the University of Asia Pacific while making effective and proper use of the institution's resources. Through this MOU, Ontik Consulting Limited and University of Asia Pacific will engage in innovative activities that enhance the learning experience and opportunities for students. The collaboration intends to provide students with practical exposure to real-world industry scenarios and encourage the application of academic knowledge in practical settings. Additionally, Ontik Technology, being a technology company, may offer internships, training programs, or research opportunities to students, allowing them to gain valuable insights and experiences in the technology industry and the market.

Nazrul Islam, Ph.D. (Retd.), Registrar, UAP; Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mizanur Rahaman, Dean, School of Engineering, UAP; Prof. Dr. Aloke Kumar Saha, Director, IQAC, UAP; Dr. Shah Murtaza Rashid Al Masud, Associate Professor and Head, CSE, UAP; Akhtaruzzaman Adnan, Assistant Professor, CSE, UAP; Tanjina Helaly, Assistant Professor, CSE, UAP; Nakiba Nuren Rahman, Lecturer, CSE, UAP and other officials of UAP were present at the program.
From Ontik Technology- S.M. Mohiuddin Milton, Managing Director; Mahmuda Islam, Chief Technology Officer; Zihadul Islam Shakil, Business Development Manager were present.
The ceremony was arranged by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, UAP.
