The University of Asia Pacific (UAP) proudly congratulates the UAP Law Orators of the Department of Law and Human Rights for emerging as Champions of the 3rd NILS National Legal Debate Championship (NNLDC) 2026, organized by NILS Bangladesh. Competing against 32 teams from universities across Bangladesh, this prestigious national victory stands as a significant milestone for the university
The championship centered on Cyber Security Laws, demanding advanced legal insight, analytical precision, and persuasive advocacy. Throughout the competition, the UAP Law Orators embodied their guiding motto—“Voice with Vision, Argument with Impact”—by presenting well-structured arguments grounded in legal foresight, contemporary relevance, and strategic reasoning.
The champion team comprised Soyd Merajul Islam (7th Semester), Sara Mustafi Promi (5th Semester), and Sammo Mondol Kotha (5th Semester). Their remarkable performance was achieved under the supervision of Ms. Tania Mustari, Lecturer, Department of Law and Human Rights, UAP, whose academic mentorship and guidance played a crucial role in shaping the team’s success.
Throughout the tournament, the team demonstrated outstanding legal reasoning, strong cyber and digital literacy, confident advocacy, and exceptional teamwork. Their victory not only highlights the individual excellence of the debaters but also reflects the robust academic standards and vibrant co-curricular culture of the Department of Law and Human Rights, UAP.
