The University of Asia Pacific (UAP) is delighted to share that Professor Clemens Bulitta, President of Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Amberg-Weiden (OTH), Germany, visited UAP from January 16 to 18, 2026. The visit featured a series of high-level academic and administrative engagements, including research discussions, courtesy meetings, faculty addresses, institutional dialogues, and collaboration initiatives with the University of Asia Pacific.
On January 18, 2026, UAP and OTH signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore future collaboration, including joint initiatives and the possible establishment of institutes and academic programs.
On the same day, Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Amberg-Weiden, Germany, and the University of Asia Pacific (UAP), Dhaka, Bangladesh, took a significant step toward strengthening bilateral academic ties through the formal signing of the MoU. The agreement was signed by Prof. Dr. Clemens Bulitta, President of Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Amberg-Weiden, and Prof. Dr. Qumrul Ahsan, Vice Chancellor of UAP, marking a new chapter of international cooperation and academic exchange.
The signing ceremony took place at the UAP campus and was attended by distinguished guests, including Mr. K. M. Mozibul Hoque, Chairperson, Board of Trustees, UAP; Mr. Qayum Reza Chowdhury, Member, Board of Trustees, UAP; Architect Mahbuba Haque, Member, Board of Trustees, UAP; Al-haj Abdul Malek Mollah, Member, Board of Trustees, UAP; Professor Dr. M. A. Baqui Khalily, Dean, School of Business, Humanities and Social Science, School of Law and School of Science; and Sarwar Razzaq Chowdhury, Associate Professor and Head, Department of Business Administration.
This collaboration opens the door to exciting academic ventures, and both institutions look forward to the new opportunities that will emerge as a result of this partnership.
