"A Journey Through Street Lens" -- A Three-Day Street Photography Experience organized by UAP Photography Club, DSW

The UAP Photography Club, under the Directorate of Students' Welfare (DSW), successfully organized a three-day workshop and photowalk titled "A Journey Through Street Lens" on April 23, 25, and 26, 2026. The event was conducted by renowned photographer Hasan Saifuddin Chandan, providing participants with a unique opportunity to develop their knowledge and practical skills in street photography.

The program commenced with an inspiring workshop led by Mr. Chandan, who shared valuable experiences from his remarkable 45-year journey in photography. Through engaging storytelling and professional insights, he introduced participants to the fundamentals of visual storytelling, composition, and the techniques required to capture meaningful and compelling street photographs.

On the second day, participants took part in an immersive photowalk through the historic streets of Puran Dhaka under the guidance of Mr. Chandan. The hands-on session enabled participants to explore the vibrant culture, architecture, and everyday life of Old Dhaka while applying the concepts and techniques learned during the workshop. The experience encouraged them to observe, document, and creatively interpret the dynamic essence of street life.
