Meeting with Chowagiken Corp., Japan Held at UAP CSE Department

A delegation from Chowagiken Corporation, Japan visited the Department of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) at the University of Asia Pacific (UAP) on 01 December 2025 to discuss potential areas of academic and technological collaboration. The meeting took place at the CSE Department.

Professor Dr. Shah Murtaza Rashid Al Masud, Head of the Department of CSE, along with faculty members, warmly welcomed the visiting team. During the visit, the delegation toured the classrooms and laboratories, where they observed the academic environment, facilities, and ongoing activities within the department.

The Japanese team consisted of Mr. Takuya Nakamura, CEO of Chowagiken Corporation Ms. Yoko Noguchi, Head of HR; Mr. Takehiko Suzuki, R&D; and Mr. Yoji Umetsu, Manager. They were accompanied by Dr. Md. Rashedul Islam, Visiting Researcher at the School of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Aizu, and Associate Professor of CSE at UAP.

Following the tour, a discussion session was held in the conference room of the Department of CSE. The meeting focused on introducing Chowagiken Corporation to the faculty and exploring future collaboration opportunities, particularly in the areas of AI training, robotics, and advanced technology development. Both parties expressed interest in working together and agreed to continue communication to outline possible joint initiatives.
The visit concluded with a positive understanding between CSE, UAP and Chowagiken Corp., Japan marking the beginning of a promising collaborative relationship.
