Shameer Saleh joined in the Department of Civil Engineering, UAP as a lecturer in November 2017. He obtained his B.Sc. degree in Civil Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in 2014; and later completed Master of Professional Engineering degree (Civil) from The University of Sydney, NSW, Australia in 2017. His thesis topic for B.Sc. was “Identification of Hazardous Road Locations at National Highways of Bangladesh using different methods” and he has a conference paper in 10th Global Engineering, Science and Technology Conference based on his thesis, which achieved the best paper award. Shameer Saleh carried on another research on Numerical Behaviour of Composite K- Joints Subjected to Combined Loading and Corrosive Environment for his postgraduate thesis. His research work is submitted to ASCCS (Advances in Steel-Concrete Composite Structures) to be published for the conference in Valencia, Spain, 2018. 

Shameer Saleh has worked as a lecturer in American International University – Bangladesh (AIUB) from August 2014 to June 2015. He has also worked as a Tutor and IELTS instructor in COACH Education and Migration Services, NSW, Australia from March 2016 to October 2017. His areas of research interest are finite element analysis and simulation of structures, composite joints in corrosion conditions, Hazardous Road Locations and Blackspot analysis etc.
